Crocheted Cable Scarf

I recently finished a scarf for my youngest daughter, that came out much better than I expected. I had to look for a tutorial on Utube in order to figure out how to do the tricky front post and back post stitches (I'm a visual person.) I found the Free pattern at the Coats and Clark website.
Here are a few of pictures. My daughter is very happy with her sparkly scarf! :)

My latest Crochet Project

I always try to crochet a blanket for any new babies in our family, and my niece had her 2nd baby girl recently, so I made a blanket for the new baby, and a stuffed bunny for the "big-sis".

I found the bunny pattern on the Lion brand yarn website. It was one of the most challenging projects I've completed, not because the crochet stitches were at all difficult, but stuffing the tiniest parts (The bunny is only about 6 inches high) while finishing crocheting them, and sewing it all together was not like anything I'd ever done before. I don't know if I'll make another bunny, but I'm told my niece was thrilled with it, so it was definately worth the effort.
